Tsuke-ba is an old Japanese word for “pickling place” or in other words – a sushi kitchen!
We are open from 9am – 4pm, MON – SAT.
You can order any of our sushi, salads, and ready-to-go hot meals from 9am. Made to order kitchen hot meals from 11am – 1:45pm. If you come in earlier and can’t find what you’re looking for, please ring the bell for assistance and one of us will come out to help you out!
We have approximately 15 – 20 seats at our shop, with plenty of communal seating available on Oxford Street.
We certainly do! We have a huge range of platters available for your functions that can cater to most dietary requirements. Please see link for next day or scheduled pick-ups, or contact us directly by email or mobile phone. Latest orders are by 3pm the day before and require payment in full.

Our family at Tsuke-ba aims to cater to as many needs as we can. We have gluten-free and vegan options available at our shop and are very careful with our preparation at all times. However, as our kitchen is a mixed-use kitchen there will be allergens present including soy, egg, sesame, peanut, fish, seeds, gluten, sulphites, possibly dairy, and other tree nuts. Individuals with severe allergies (anaphylactic) are not recommended to consume our products.

We have decades of experience in supplying to local major stores such as Coles, Woolworths, and IGAs. We also supply to school canteens!
